My name is Brooke Lynn Yanke aka Brooklyn. I'm the owner/artist at Brooklyn Yanke Art LLC.  I was born and raised in Upstate NY and to this day its where I reside and where Brooklyn Yanke Art LLC all began.

Luckily for me I discovered art at an early age which became my savoir during a difficult time in my teenage years. I can still remember escaping to my room as a kid and being whisked away from reality with one simple stroke of my pencil. In so many ways art became my sanctuary.

In my 20’s I focused on my family life and career as a dental assistant. With mouths to feed and a marriage to build, I decided to put my passion for art on the back burner.  After 15 years of raising my kids and putting my family priorities first, I decided it was time to reach in my back pocket and dust off those dreams and aspirations I had tucked away for so long.

Fate would have it that I married my husband who was an autobody technician and a motorcycle enthusiast.  His vision opened a whole new world of art and endless possibilities for me.  It wasn’t long after he put an airbrush in my hands that I knew that this was my missing puzzle piece for the last 15 years, and just like that my passion for art was reignited.

For the last 5 years I’ve focused all my energy on fueling my dream to become a successful artist. I turned my garage into my art studio, and my dining room table doubles as a place for family dinners, gatherings, memories and my home office. I’ve spent many endless hours of watching youtube videos and trying out new techniques. I can't even begin to tell you how many countless hours of artwork that I've junked  because sometimes you just have to learn the hard way. However, at the end of the day, I love what I do….and if I can share what I do and make others happy with my artwork then I believe there is no better job out there than that.

Behind each piece of my artwork is an extensive process. Every stroke, every paint drop, every bit of each creation comes from my heart.  Please feel free to take a look around my site to see a full collection of all my past and present pieces. I hope you enjoy.
